Dr. Jinling Liu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology housed in both College of Public Health and Health Professions and College of Medicine at the University of Florida (UF). Before joining UF, she was a
faculty member in the Department of Engineering Management and Systems
Engineering (EMSE) and Department of Biological Sciences at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T). Dr. Liu holds a Ph.D degree in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University as well as an MS degree in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Liu also completed a National Library of Medicine Postdoctoral Fellowship in Biomedical Informatics. She has extensive experience in big data analytics, systems biology, probabilistic graphical models and machine learning techniques.
