The 4th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Birdwatching Competition Award Ceremony was held at Guangzhou Haizhu National Wetland Park on March 23.In this competition, two new recorded bird species -- Black-throated Titin (红头长尾山雀) and Huet's Fulvettad (淡眉雀鹛) -- were spotted by representatives from Baqi Ermalu Primary School in Yuexiu District at the park.These two new discoveries help to increase the number of avian species of Haizhu National Wetland Park to 196.With a brown tone on its head and neck, Black-throated Titin features broad, black eye stripes. They mainly inhabit shrubbery or orchards, where they can often be seen hopping and flying among trees.Huet's Fulvettad is modestly colored, with a brown body (darker above, paler underneath), white throat, and gray head marked by a sharp black stripe above the brow extending from the bill to the nape.According to Hu Chao, Deputy Director of the Wetland Conservation and Management Office of Haizhu District in Guangzhou,
