There are many kinds of power.
Sympathy gives you power to love, to care.
Confidence gives you power to share, to lead.
Logic gives you power to think, to calculate.
But one power,
that can give you many things and cost you many things.
It’s ego.
Ego changed us, it turned us into someone we didn’t know, it forced us to do things we didn’t do. It gave us ideas that really sparkle, courage that make us brave.
Ego pushed us, it told us that we can’t lose, we don’t lose. it kicked us and then let that pain be our memory, then we learn how to keep moving forward without a stop.
The longer you stay with your ego, the more clearer you see it’s hidden power, you forget how you get inside of it, but when you turn back, there’s no way out already.
Ego divides us like day and night. Ego showed us what we have and what could have.
