D in 1997 from Osaka Prefecture University, Japan. He is now a Full Professor of Cybermedia Center, and Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Osaka University. Until March 2023, he was a Full Professor of Kansai University, and directed Policy Grid Computing Laboratory, Kansai University funded by Japanese Government from 2005 to 2010. He was an Associate Editor of several IEEE Transactions, and a Senior Editor of Review of Socionetwork Strategies published from Springer.
