一、读书5个建议
1.选书: 不要强迫自己读不感兴趣的
2.正确期待：了解点信息，顺便学点英文，就是赚到了
3.设定阅读计划：心有有数
4. 读一遍，再读一遍：说了什么事？哪里没读懂？学到了什么？
关于死磕 & live with it: 如果花费太多时间就没必要。
是的，我也同意这点，纠结某个细节，还不如接着读下去，说不定后面就有解释。
只记你最想要记得表达：做减法。有些东西不值得记 ：比如Eric举了例子 He built his first lasts 鞋楦 这个意思有可能你一辈子都不会用到。
Eric在生词上有个小细节：一个生词出现了2次时，会标一个 x2
Don`t bite more than you can chew: 不要做收集资料的松鼠，资料再多都没用，你会用吗？

书的主人是你：想怎么读，读到什么程度 it`s up to you
读得懂不代表你也会 简单的东西并不简单：
如果你没有这么用过，就把它当做生词：比如：I was up before others (get up); made of money (rich); Luck play a big role. (big=important)； I was saddened; “shoot”
在阅读中学词汇，一定要在语境中理解：they were a bit weddinged out：文中是说父母最近参加了很多次婚礼，有点多了
在语境中理解一句话，不要急着查字典：猜再查，记得更牢
多思考:某个表达还可以怎么说？I wanted to leave a mark on the world: we `re here to put a dent in the universe.
On paper, I thought, I'm an adult…so why, I wondered, why do I still feel like a kid? 还可以说：On ID card, I'm an adult.
People should`t get hung up on brands:

哪些词值得记？ 词汇的敏感度: 学习量变的结果
把英语表达当朋友：别急，多见几次，有缘自然记住
每个表达都是你的独家记忆：
比如 toy with （随便一想) Wrestle with (我花了2个小时才造了几个句子)
什么是该记的词：
1）立刻产生联想；
2）形象、别扭、好玩、用得上；
3）与过去知识和未来场景建立联系：
a start-up shoe company living on shoestring budget;
to sb is a land mine, to other is a potential gold mine (雷区。坑&金矿)；
His math was solid 很好）;
Either way (都行)；
Don`t be anal (事逼);
the idea will never fly (won`t work);
be at loggerheads with sb (撕逼，be at odd with)
we were making it up as we went on (边走边做，边学边做)
这些例子都是Eric在shoe dog 里注意到的他觉得值得记住的表达。
我们可以借鉴，但不代表这些也成了我们的表达。我们才是学习的主人，没有与自己建立有效迁移即积极联系的知识不属于你。
