Beijing (Gasgoo)-  Chinese autonomous driving solution provider Pony.ai has officially launched its autonomous vehicle demonstration route in Guangzhou, offering passengers Robotaxi rides between key locations such as the city center, Baiyun International Airport, and Guangzhou South Railway Station, the company disclosed on Feb. 21. The pilot program features four initial routes connecting five locations, operating daily between 10:00-15:00 and 19:30-21:30. The vehicles used in the route demonstration are equipped with Pony.ai's sixth-generation autonomous driving system and are based on the GAC Toyota Sienna, which has been included in Guangzhou's approved list for intelligent connected vehicle operations.
